Okay, so maybe you would've been wondering from a while that what is a bitcoin that everyone has been talking about, how does this thing work and more importantly, how you can get them. So calm down peeps because you are about to know everything.
Basically, a BITCOIN is a peer-to-peerpayment system and digital currency introduced as open source software in 2009 by pseudonymous developer Satoshi Nakamoto.
It is a cryptocurrency, so-called because it uses cryptography for security. Users send payments by broadcasting digitally signed messages to the network. Transactions are verified, timestamped, and recorded by specialized computers into a shared public transaction history database called the block chain. The operators of these computers, known as miners, are rewarded with transaction fees and newly minted bitcoins.
Don't be surprised after knowing this but Bitcoin's exchange rates are way to high. It is damn true 1 BTC(bitcoin) has currently 952.5 USD. Isn't that super crazy. If you don't believe feel free to check the exchange rates here yourself.
That was the very basic knowledge about a bitcoin. But how does this thing work exactly ? This is the question that causes confusion. Here's a quick explanation.
Well you can watch this video for explanation of what is a bitcoin and how does this thing work or you can read the summary after the video.
The basics for a new user
As a new user, you can get started with Bitcoin without understanding the technical details. Once you have installed a Bitcoin wallet on your computer or mobile phone, it will generate your first Bitcoin address and you can create more whenever you need one. You can disclose your addresses to your friends so that they can pay you or vice versa. In fact, this is pretty similar to how email works, except that Bitcoin addresses should only be used once.
The block chain is a shared public ledger on which the entire Bitcoin network relies. All confirmed transactions are included in the block chain. This way, Bitcoin wallets can calculate their spendable balance and new transactions can be verified to be spending bitcoins that are actually owned by the spender. The integrity and the chronological order of the block chain are enforced with cryptography.
A transaction is a transfer of value between Bitcoin wallets that gets included in the block chain. Bitcoin wallets keep a secret piece of data called a private key or seed, which is used to sign transactions, providing a mathematical proof that they have come from the owner of the wallet. The signature also prevents the transaction from being altered by anybody once it has been issued. All transactions are broadcast between users and usually begin to be confirmed by the network in the following 10 minutes, through a process called mining.
Mining is a distributed consensus system that is used to confirm waiting transactions by including them in the block chain. It enforces a chronological order in the block chain, protects the neutrality of the network, and allows different computers to agree on the state of the system. To be confirmed, transactions must be packed in a block that fits very strict cryptographic rules that will be verified by the network. These rules prevent previous blocks from being modified because doing so would invalidate all following blocks. Mining also creates the equivalent of a competitive lottery that prevents any individual from easily adding new blocks consecutively in the block chain. This way, no individuals can control what is included in the block chain or replace parts of the block chain to roll back their own spends.
Okay, so this much is obviously just a summary of it's working. But if want to know in detail which not really needed but for that you can look into the original paper by clicking here.
Now, here comes the most important part. How can you get Bitcoins. The process of getting or say earning bitcoins is through a process called mining. We basically use our computer to do some task and ultimately it results in adding some bitcoins to our wallet. Remember, that this quantity can be very low but still it has got bigger value, so don't go on numbers. For mining you got to have computers with very good configurations. Your dual celeron processors with 1 GB of RAM ain't gonna do the job. Here's the best video available, that will make evrything clear about how to mine Bitcoin.
PART - 1
PART - 2
Watching a video is much better way to get things clear, and this will make everything very clear. For mining bitcoins it is also necessary to know about good mining pools. To know about good mining pools out there available watch this --
About mining pools, trading and exchanging.
So, i believe things about will be pretty clear to you. It is something that everyone can do and it is no illegal as well. So i don't find anything wrong in mining bitcoins myself. So start mining today.
When Microsoft launched Windows 8, people were pretty excited especially the tech peeps, but Microsoft didn't gave happiness to all. No, it was not as bad as Windows Vista instead it was far better than Vista. Windows 8 is, no doubt, awesome for tablets and mobiles, somehow few people couldn't digest the fact that it is not having a start button. It was like taking away its recognition.
But now Microsoft is going to launch Windows 8.1 very soon i.e. on October 18, 2013. And the noticing fact is that Microsoft included the start button has arrived again after a huge range of feedback. Its ad is showing the new fancy start button.
Microsoft is choosing to highlight the button return in a new Windows 8.1 ad. After launching a "Windows Everywhere"
campaign back in June, the latest Windows 8.1 ad follows a similar
pattern. It highlights the ability to start up to the desktop (boot to
desktop) and "hit the start button to flip back and forth" between the
desktop and "Metro" Start Screen. Similarly, it also ends by featuring a
Windows tablet, PC, and Surface.
At Intel's developer forum recently, Microsoft's head of marketing, Tami Reller, revealed
that the company's August activations for Windows 8 were the highest so
far. Microsoft has been focusing on back to school promotions and it's
gearing up for new PCs and its own Surface 2 release ahead of the
holidays. After Surface and Windows tablets got off to a slow start last
holiday, Microsoft has partnered up with Best Buy
and some European retailers to create Windows Stores inside retail
locations. The company clearly hopes the retail presence and new ads
will help convince consumers to opt for a Windows tablet this fall.
Apple iPhone 5s is been out from few days, yeah you all know this. But i'm sure you dont know the full specs, reviews and a lot more about it.
There is a huge number of Apple fans out there and this one fact not to surprise about. As usual the day iPhone 5s was ready to meet their potential buyers, you could easily see a long line of people in front of shops whose owner feels like a superstar that day:D.
Okay, i'll not be wasting my time telling you its specs because you know that better than me. Or if you still missing out any fact about iPhone 5s.....check out this page.
Else, you can jump here.
Well, for any iPhone, it is an undeniable fact that it is a gorgeous phone, one that's as satisfying to hold and use and look at
as any piece of electronics has the capacity to be. It's thin, light,
solid, regrettably scratch-prone, on the fragile side if not outright
brittle, and all the other things you know iPhones to be. That's a
little boring, but it also works.
And so Apple plays the hits. The screen is the same retina display
you're used to. It's been outstripped in size and pixel density by other
larger and more powerful phones, but you'd be hard pressed to point out
any flaws. The size, weight, and general shape are all the same old
Apple standards.
TouchID, Apple's fingerprint scanning security system, just works.
Remember how that feels? It's simple and convenient and never feels like
an imposition. Every time I'm asked for the thumb ID, it feels like a
shortcut. Oh, I'd have to input a whole damn password here, wouldn't I?
It's almost like MagSafe, in that it takes a small
not-really-an-inconvenience and makes it easier, better. Wet
fingers—after just washing your hands and drying them on your pants,
say—don't work so well, but we did find that eating chicken wings and
having gross, orange fingers was just fine.
There's another piece of hardware in the iPhone that hasn't been talked
about nearly as much, but is maybe even more important than TouchID. The
M7 processor is supposed to make your iPhone come alive. At the
announcement event, Nike showed off a new app that would turn your
iPhone into, basically, a Fuel Band you carry around in your pocket. The
phone would pick up the fine movements of your body, but because that
information would be routed through the M7 chip instead of the main
processor, the effects on battery would be minimal.
There are a few who question whether it's 'fair' to launch a phone and
then append an 'S' to the same thing a year later - Apple's response
would likely be that nobody is forcing you to buy the new hardware. And
that's a fair point. Yes, this is a phone that bears far too many
hallmarks of its predecessor. And yes, this is the third time Apple has
done this.
Whatever happens, its true that Apple will never lose its popularity and craze. Still people will take pain to get it.
You can get iPhone from Amazon--
Well, i surely hope you will find this "again" version of iPhone fun or at least you can hope for this.Be it the all-new Touch ID home button (which is excellent, more on that
later), the huge jump in CPU power or the fact the camera has, once
again, been improved no end, the new iPhone is clearly Apple's attempt
at bringing as much as it can to the party without having to re-design
the whole concept all over again.
Sometimes you get unlucky enough that your computer crashes without you having any kind of backup. So, its not your fault (untill you take the sole responsibility :D) but this situation is very pathetic. I'm saying so because quite a few years before i faced this very similar kind of problem and i lost GBs of my very important and loving data in a flash. Yeah, sour memories, but i surely don't want that to happen to any of us. So guys, I've compiled a large list of CDs for various computer repair tasks. In this list, the following types of CD are available for download: Antivirus Boot CDs, Recovery Disks, Hardware Diagnostic Boot CDs, Network Testing/Monitoring, Data Recovery Boot CDs and Special Purpose CDs.
Some of these are free to download, some are not. Be sure to read the EULA for the CD’s you download and the applications you use to make sure you are allowed to use them in the manner you plan to use them in. Many of the CDs contain a variety of different programs and some of the applications are free to use as you please, but some of them disallow commercial use. So be sure to read and abide by the EULA for whatever you use.
Also, some of these CD’s may set off an antivirus false positive due to their virus removal, password cracking, system file changing nature. Konboot is one such CD that will set off antivirus software. Its best to scan the CDs that are setting off your antivirus using a site like Virustotal.com and make your own decisions.
