BITCOIN : What is it? How does this work?

Okay, so maybe you would've been wondering from a while that what is a bitcoin that everyone has been talking about, how does this thing work and more importantly, how you can get them. So calm down peeps because you are about to know everything.

Basically, a BITCOIN is peer-to-peer payment system and digital currency introduced as open source software in 2009 by pseudonymous developer Satoshi Nakamoto.
It is a cryptocurrency, so-called because it uses cryptography for security. Users send payments by broadcasting digitally signed messages to the network. Transactions are verified, timestamped, and recorded by specialized computers into a shared public transaction history database called the block chain. The operators of these computers, known as miners, are rewarded with transaction fees and newly minted bitcoins.

Don't be surprised after knowing this but Bitcoin's exchange rates are way to high. It is damn true 1 BTC(bitcoin) has currently 952.5 USD. Isn't that super crazy. If you don't believe feel free to check the exchange rates here yourself.

That was the very basic knowledge about a bitcoin. But how does this thing work exactly ? This is the question that causes confusion. Here's a quick explanation.

Well you can watch this video for explanation of what is a bitcoin and how does this thing work or you can read the summary after the video.

The basics for a new user
As a new user, you can get started with Bitcoin without understanding the technical details. Once you have installed a Bitcoin wallet on your computer or mobile phone, it will generate your first Bitcoin address and you can create more whenever you need one. You can disclose your addresses to your friends so that they can pay you or vice versa. In fact, this is pretty similar to how email works, except that Bitcoin addresses should only be used once.

The block chain is a shared public ledger on which the entire Bitcoin network relies. All confirmed transactions are included in the block chain. This way, Bitcoin wallets can calculate their spendable balance and new transactions can be verified to be spending bitcoins that are actually owned by the spender. The integrity and the chronological order of the block chain are enforced with cryptography.

Transactions - private keys
A transaction is a transfer of value between Bitcoin wallets that gets included in the block chain. Bitcoin wallets keep a secret piece of data called a private key or seed, which is used to sign transactions, providing a mathematical proof that they have come from the owner of the wallet. The signature also prevents the transaction from being altered by anybody once it has been issued. All transactions are broadcast between users and usually begin to be confirmed by the network in the following 10 minutes, through a process called mining.

Processing - mining
Mining is a distributed consensus system that is used to confirm waiting transactions by including them in the block chain. It enforces a chronological order in the block chain, protects the neutrality of the network, and allows different computers to agree on the state of the system. To be confirmed, transactions must be packed in a block that fits very strict cryptographic rules that will be verified by the network. These rules prevent previous blocks from being modified because doing so would invalidate all following blocks. Mining also creates the equivalent of a competitive lottery that prevents any individual from easily adding new blocks consecutively in the block chain. This way, no individuals can control what is included in the block chain or replace parts of the block chain to roll back their own spends.

Okay, so this much is obviously just a summary of it's working. But if want to know in detail which not really needed but for that you can look into the original paper by clicking here.

Now, here comes the most important part. How can you get Bitcoins.
The process of getting or say earning bitcoins is through a process called mining. We basically use our computer to do some task and ultimately it results in adding some bitcoins to our wallet. Remember, that this quantity can be very low but still it has got bigger value, so don't go on numbers. For mining you got to have computers with very good configurations. Your dual celeron processors with 1 GB of RAM ain't gonna do the job. Here's the best video available, that will make evrything clear about how to mine Bitcoin.

PART - 1

PART - 2

Watching a video is much better way to get things clear, and this will make everything very clear.
For mining bitcoins it is also necessary to know about good mining pools. To know about good mining pools out there available watch this --
About mining pools, trading and exchanging.

So, i believe things about will be pretty clear to you. It is something that everyone can do and it is no illegal as well. So i don't find anything wrong in mining bitcoins myself. So start mining today.

GTA V Online encounters technical issues

Over popularity can be dangerous and this fact has been proven in the world of games over the time very often. Publishers buy the best servers with cutting edge technology and best professionals to take care and to ensure that the game is not left out in the cold but when the millions of the crazy fans start to hit it, they just loose it. We only have to look at the chaotic arrival of EA's Sim City or Blizzard's Diablo III for evidence of this. Both games pretty much collapsed at launch, with fans unable to sign in for many hours and instead jamming the forums with questions and complaints.

Rockstar Games
The quite same situation stands in front of the creatrors of Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar Games. Launched last month to huge critical acclaim, Grand Theft Auto V has sold in the region of 15m copies, making it the year's biggest entertainment release. The game made nearly $1bn in its first day - a record for a game or film. And later at noon the publisher is unlocking the ambitious multiplayer mode: Grand Theft Auto Online. Providing fans with a persistent version of the game's world, Los Santos, owners of GTA V can access the new mode for free, join gangs, and get involved in heists, races, death matches and other nefarious activities, all the time earning Reputation Points which unlock new goodies such as weapons and cars. In a post on its Newswire site last week, the publisher stated:

"One thing we are already aware of, and are trying to alleviate as fast as we can, is the unanticipated additional pressure on the servers due to a significantly higher number of players than we were anticipating at this point – we are working around the clock to buy and add more servers, but this increased scale is only going to make the first few days even more temperamental than such things usually are."
So the key message from Rockstar is, bear with us. This is effectively a mass open beta. As the website puts it: "The first couple of weeks we expect to be heavily focused on tuning the experience as it goes from internal testing to the reality of being played by tons of people in the real world so that all the usual problems for an online game are overcome. We hope it will all run incredibly smoothly, but please bear with us if it doesn't, and help us fix any and all problems!"

SimCity developer Maxis later admitted it had been "dumb" not to anticipate the level of demand after all, GTA IV sold more than 25m copies.
Moreover, each time you play, you enter a server that is currently restricted to 16 players and you can carry out heists or indulge in a spot of racing around the Southern California landscape.
The 18-rated game - which had a £170m ($274m) budget - has been widely praised by critics and the public.
Games website IGN called it a "masterpiece", and one of the greatest video games ever made.
Edge magazine called it a "remarkable achievement" that sent a message to the rest of the industry.

Gamer's God "Tom Clancy" Dead.

Best-selling author co-founded studio Red Storm in 1996
It has been officially reported that the ultra popular  writer Tom Clancy is dead. Author of many record selling books Tom Clancy was 66, and died at John Hopkins Hospital in his home town of Baltimore after a brief illnesss. Famous to millions for his books like The Hunt for Red OctoberPatriot Games and The Sum of All Fears, gamers will know him better via titles such as Rainbow SixGhost Recon and Splinter Cell.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell for PS

Clancy co-founded games studio "Red Storm"  in 1996, which was acquired by Ubisoft in 2000. And from then onward Ubisoft is adding Clancy's name in some high profile titles such as HAWXEndWarGhost Recon: Shadow Wars and several new entries in the Splinter Cell franchise — including Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which launched on Wii U recently. The next game to be published with Clancy's name on the cover is The Division.

Ubisoft recently released the statement -
We are saddened to learn of Tom Clancy's passing and our condolences go out to his family. Tom Clancy was an extraordinary author with a gift for creating detailed, engrossing fictional stories that captivated audiences around the world. The teams at Ubisoft, especially at the Red Storm studio, are incredibly grateful to have collaborated with and learned from him, and we are humbled by the opportunity to carry on part of his legacy through our properties that bear his name.
Though Clancy's involvement in the game was very little, but his presence in one way or other gave a slight edge to every thing he get involved in whether it is a book, movie or any game.

Apple iOS 7

When earlier in September when Apple launched its biggest update to its mobile operating system iOS, there has been mixed reaction initially. But lately it seems like Apple will be having hard time receiving the bug and fixing it, because there are just a lot of them. From small good features to pretty big frustrating problems, the iOS 7 has it all. Well, we'll be looking into deep in iOS 7 - the good and the bad.

Starting from the good features ->

1. Clock icon

Yes, you heard that. A clock working at the top of the scree. Take a look.

2. Text Time-stamps

Also new, if you'll slide texts you can see time-stamps for all of them.

3. The Level

Just open up your compass app and slide your fingers across it, and congratulations because you just unraveled a new feature. So now, say goodbye to those tilted paintings.

4.Night mode for maps

When you are driving late, your bright apple screen can very blinding and cause you many problems. In this, the screen appears dark at certain times to prevent that problem. This is less distracting and easier on the eyes when navigating at night.

5. Closing multiple apps at once.

Yes, you can close multiple apps at once. Here's how: double click the home button to reveal open webpages and platforms. You can then swipe up to three apps at once by using three fingers and dragging them upwards.

6. Block calls

Well, if you are getting annoying calls you have now the liberty to just block them. Visit Settings > Phone > Blocked to add numbers you want to restrict.

7. Apps near me

Now this is an interesting feature. When you visit the Apple app store, you'll se something like "near me" at the bottom. This is region specific apps. It means if you are, suppose, in Manhattan then it will show you those apps which are downloaded most on that region.

OK, now coming to the bad features ->

Well it certainly looks like they'll never ending reporting. But getting familiar with very common drawbacks in iOS 7.

1. Security Glitches

It was the problem at the starting, but now fixed by Apple. iOS 7 security flaw allowed for the circumvention of a device's lockscreen,as reported CNET . From a locked phone or iPad, swiping up to access the alarm clock app and following a couple extra steps brought up the iOS 7 multitasking screen where you could access the camera app or photo gallery. This opened a clear path to Twitter, email and other accounts. Apple replied quickly to this vulnerability by releasing an iOS 7.0.2 update late last week, fixing the bug.

2. Unwanted Logouts

One problem that’s vexed iOS 7 users and developers alike is a glitch that logs users out of some apps, according to The Verge , prompting a sign-in screen each time an app with a unique account is accessed. Popular iOS email app Mailbox was “in crisis mode” shortly after the release of iOS 7, attempting to fix the software conflict as users grew agitated. According to Mailbox, the only solution, though a temporary one, is to disable iOS 7’s new background refresh feature, though this removes the app’s ability to receive updated information while in the background. This issue remains unaddressed.

3. Battery life

It has been reported highly by many users that this update just drains out the juice of your device very quickly. iOS 7 is more like iOS 7% left of battery. As reported by PC Magazine , the difference in power consumption is often hard to quantify, seeing as each user uses his or her phone differently and with unique configurations, though it is worth mentioning that Apple did address a similar battery drain claim with a patch to its iOS 5 software. In the meantime, some sites have compiled best practices lists  to aid users in conserving battery life, suggesting things like turning off background app updates and disabling AirDrop (Apple’s new wireless file sharing service). For example, theHuffington Post's Alexis Kleinman put together this primer on how to save battery life with iOS 7 .

4. Motion Sickness

There is another weird claim that is getting high concern. It makes users sick. As a report from NBC News asserts , iOS 7’s new 3D desktop might be giving iPhoners vertigo-like symptoms.

5. iMESSAGE problems.

A lot of people switching to iOS 7 are reporting the malfunctioning of iMESSAGE, Apple's all-encompassing messaging platform for texting and desktop chatting. According to The Wall Street Journal , Apple has acknowledged the bug and is looking to the resolve the issue as soon as it can. Tech site BGR has reported  that we should expect this fix to come next week by way of Apple's second patch update to iOS 7.

6. Design Flaws

Then there are the visual imperfections. One place to get a glimpse of all the places where iOS 7 is a bit off in design and compatibility with third-party apps is sloppyui.tumblr.com . Though this user-submitted Tumblr is described as being “all about intellectual honesty, not trolling,” it’s full of, well, sloppy design inconsistencies and errors, and seems a little troll-y.

Now, looking at these bugs or say flaws one might say that they are so picky and almost every OS have them in one way or another. But guys, the thing is that its not what you think. These small things make up your best user experience. Apple didn't get the launch it needed with iOS 7 as it was the Apple's largest update to its mobile operating system since iOS was introduced in 2007. Though there are a lot of other changes which took a big leap from iOS 6 to iOS 7. But this time it will take a little more time to adopt those changes.

Besharam Review

Well beating the search hits, "Besharam" seems to be the trending topic. Its like a golden era going on with Ranbir Kapoor. Everybody loves Ranbir. And now, Besharam has already started yelling about Ranbir Kapoor. A breakout for the review of Besharam movie has been out there from a while. Breaking the breakout, here's all the scoop you'll ever want at single destination.

Well, Car mechanic Babli lives in an orphanage in Delhi and occasionally breaks the law to support his friends, stealing cars to raise enough money to keep the orphanage afloat. His fuzzy sense of right and wrong is challenged when his actions unwittingly hurt the love of his life, Tara. Suddenly, Babli is compelled to re-evaluate his life and rectify all of the mistakes he has made.

So, that's most probably what the entire story is. Good performances, the Kapoor clan, and some good humour could not really create the magic especially when you enter in the theater taking in "Barfi" like expectations. But over and all, The young Kapoor is a teen heart throb, here he tries to be more, and doesn’t really do too well.

Humor is just spattered insufficiently and inconsistently. The parts where you end up enjoying the most are Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s sequences, and by the end you are disappointed that they did not have as much screen time as you would have liked. It looks like Abhinav wanted to work with a plot that involved all three, but his ambitions stopped short right there. He did not bother with a plot line which was fantastical enough to accommodate all three of them sharing the screen space and make a compelling must watch blockbuster.

Apart from Ranvir, the two other Kapoors, i.e. Rishi and Neetu were outstanding. Every time when they shared the screen, they somehow manage to entertain audience. I guess the spark is still deep down there somewhere. Whenever they came the memories of 70s romance begins to pop up into everyone's mind.

The music of the movie comes from Lalit Pandit who is the part of the 90s famed Jatin-Lalit duo. ‘Dil Ka Joh Haal Hai’ which is filmed near the traditional lahlahate sarso ke khet sounds like a track straight out of that decade. Another refreshing track is ‘Love ki Ghanti’ which reminds you of Kishore Kumar’s fun songs from the 60s. It has a conversation structure and sounds really fun! The title track and the other tracks, even though nothing to write home about are more or less enjoyable.

Overall examination of the movie concludes that "Besharam" has not been up to the par but it doesn't means it worth's a shot. "Besharam" is a nice film to watch once and since its Ranbir's who he can turn you into like it. Yeah that's what Ranbir Kapoor is capable of doing.

BBM for Android and iOS puts hold on BlackBerry

With the news of BBM for android and iOS spreading like a fire overnight, BlackBerry puts on hold for the most awaited launch. No one knows from where the leak of the app started and people didn't realize its not the real app. BBM stated that it made the things difficult hence they have to put stay for a while. With over 1 million users installing the leaked app in such a short time, Blackberry could not keep up and has put it all on “pause.”

Here is the statement from Blackberry:
Prior to launching BBM for Android, an unreleased version of the BBM for Android app was posted online. The interest and enthusiasm we have seen already – more than 1.1 million active users in the first 8 hours without even launching the official Android app – is incredible. Consequently, this unreleased version caused issues, which we have attempted to address throughout the day.
Our teams continue to work around the clock to bring BBM to Android and iPhone, but only when it’s ready and we know it will live up to your expectations of BBM. We are pausing the global roll-out of BBM for Android and iPhone. Customers who have already downloaded BBM for iPhone will be able to continue to use BBM. The unreleased Android app will be disabled, and customers who downloaded it should visit www.BBM.com to register for updates on official BBM for Android availability.
As soon as we are able, we will begin a staggered country roll-out of BBM for Android and continue the roll-out of BBM for iPhone. Please follow @BBM on Twitter for the latest updates and go to www.BBM.com to sign-up for updates about BBM for Android and iPhone. These issues have not impacted BBM service for BlackBerry.
I hope for people getting over the issue soon, and to hold themselves again as they did for the last time and unfortunately ending up in getting some leaked app which clearly didn't went as thought. Nevertheless, very soon we'll have BBM for android and iOS.
