Gamer's God "Tom Clancy" Dead.

It has been officially reported that the ultra popular  writer Tom Clancy is dead. Author of many record selling books Tom Clancy was 66, and died at John Hopkins Hospital in his home town of Baltimore after a brief illnesss. Famous to millions for his books like The Hunt for Red OctoberPatriot Games and The Sum of All Fears, gamers will know him better via titles such as Rainbow SixGhost Recon and Splinter Cell.

Clancy co-founded games studio "Red Storm"  in 1996, which was acquired by Ubisoft in 2000. And from then onward Ubisoft is adding Clancy's name in some high profile titles such as HAWXEndWarGhost Recon: Shadow Wars and several new entries in the Splinter Cell franchise — including Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which launched on Wii U recently. The next game to be published with Clancy's name on the cover is The Division.

Ubisoft recently released the statement -
We are saddened to learn of Tom Clancy's passing and our condolences go out to his family. Tom Clancy was an extraordinary author with a gift for creating detailed, engrossing fictional stories that captivated audiences around the world. The teams at Ubisoft, especially at the Red Storm studio, are incredibly grateful to have collaborated with and learned from him, and we are humbled by the opportunity to carry on part of his legacy through our properties that bear his name.
Though Clancy's involvement in the game was very little, but his presence in one way or other gave a slight edge to every thing he get involved in whether it is a book, movie or any game.
